Rudy Jacobsen, a four-time All-Star and three-time Cy Young winner for St. Louis/LA, finally accepted his trade to Pawtucket. The Penny Pinchers gave up pitcher Brad Marshall, outfielder Benny Cruz and pitcher Roger Ohka to get Jacobsen, who earlier this season declined a trade to Pawtucket.
